In this page, I will make an attempt to link to resources on the web (or books) that debunk or refute false, misleading or inaccurate work by various columnists, writers, talk show hosts, etc. against liberals/progressives/Democrats (the full list would be way too long - so this is only a partial list). Certainly, no one is ALWAYS wrong or spouting misleading/false tales, but most of the people listed below tend to be the more prominent offenders in American media (or in their media appearances). If you know of other websites that focus on these charlatans or other ones who make their living reciting GOP spin points or fabricating stories against Democrats, feel free to send them to me.

Let me acknowledge that there are some reporters/columnists etc. on the Left who also propagate myths about the Right. However, given the media overall slants to the Right in the U.S. (especially media outlets that have the widest reach), disinformation from the Right, along with conservative bias, overwhelms any disinformation from the Left or liberal bias. This is reflected in data on what people believe about Democrats and Republicans or about how each group is perceived on important policy issues (vis-a-vis reality). So, it is more important to focus here on those who make up myths about the Left. If you are wondering when I will direct my attention to the Left, all you have to do is get the Fairness Doctrine enforced in every media outlet in the U.S., ensure that no inaccurate, false or misleading story in the media remains uncorrected (prominently) and bring the media coverage back to a focus on facts over opinions
